Great job last night at the Peter Hunt Folk Art Class! It was a really fun class where everyone was inspired by his designs and picked their own colors to create a beautiful piece of art that reflected fun and Folk art! Amesbury Carriage Museum and Start 2 Art For those of you who took your pieces home to embellish them more, please post finished pieces on my page! I'd love to see how they come out. Thank you!! I was at the August Wilson House in Pittsburgh with my father. He wrote Fences among many other plays about the black peoples experience in the Hills district of Pgh. He was a very important American playwright and lived in a two room apartment with five brothers and sisters and his mother. 'Joe Turner's Come and Gone' is on Broadway. The art commemorates this incredible man.
