Hello SQA family and friends. Just wanted to update everyone. Total knee replacement surgery was on Monday, and I have had some issues with the healing process, so unfortunately I am not able to accept any additional special orders this year. I appreciate all the love and support from you all, it truly helps my soul. This has been in a word brutal in recovery. I’m tough and will get through. Thank you for your patience and prayers.

A special Alaskan friendship star quilt off to its forever home. Hoping every time she uses this quilt she knows she is loved no matter how far she moves from Alaska. The Alaska Fireweed in each friend ship star block will remind her of home. Safe travels my friend.

X- Large tote bag, magnetic snap closure, inside has pockets on both sides. Measures 20” wide, 18.5” tall and 4” wide. Made with quilters cotton, and fully lined. This is a beautiful patchwork quilt tote!

This quilt is 10/10 class quilts and was actually created before Simply Quilting Alaska started and is called the Kitchen Sink because of all the different kinds of blocks. Not gonna lie, the stippling is a hot mess, because it was before we had our Long and Mid arm machines, so I quilted this 75 x 68 quilt with flannel butterfly backing on my little Viking Rose Husqvarna. This quilt is a keeper quilt to remind me how far I have grown as a quilter! I love the bright colors, the crazy quilting and the fact I didn’t give up, because it was one of the hardest quilts I have created! Not due to the wonderful teacher, but because I had so little skill in quilting 25 years ago! I reached my New Years Resolution ahead of schedule and it feels Amazing!
