I created a bag to store the quilt. The back is blue tone on tone quilters cotton and the top is created from t-shirts, sweatshirts. I used a free motion stipple for the quilting. Each block is backed with cotton interfacing before being pieced. On the back is a hand appliqué heart in loving memory for my client. I am honored she chose our small quilt business for this special memory quilt.

I have a few colors of these cotton Alaska Handkerchiefs and making a bag from them has been on my bucket list for a while now. I love how these came out! These will be limited bags, because when they are gone they are gone. Stay tune for other colors.

Quilt #5 I was gifted this jelly roll fabric years ago by a wonderful friend. This quilt pattern is called a jelly roll race quilt. It measures about 64” x 58” roughly. The back is a tan marble flannel. The perfect lap quilt size. Only seven more quilts to bind!

Quilt #4 of 12 finished. Still on schedule to complete the binding on all of them by the end of the year! This quilt is from a class Amanda and I took at the Quilt Tree many years ago and is a King size and has brown flannel on the back. Still haven’t decide to keep or sell. Sure feels good to have it done! Eight more to go!
