Our Story
I have been a very “crafty” person for as long as I could remember. When I was in grade school, I got my grandmother to teach me how to crochet. I wanted to make a baby blanket for a doll of mine, and I was hooked (get my pun??) ever since!
In high school, I took home ec and made a few fun projects like pajama pants, and my first ever quilt! I don’t sew much, but I do enjoy to make scrub caps and smaller items like that.
While in college, I was very bored on my downtime. I was compelled to buy a beginners Boye loom set from Wal-Mart. Within 4 hours I had a brand new hat. For the past six years, all of my down time has been loom knitting. I have learned how to make a large array of items including hats, baby blankets, gloves, heel less socks (I can’t stand the heel..), comfort dolls, afghans, baby sets, and etc!
I love to share my items. I love the excitement people have when they open up their Christmas gifts and it’s a scrubby/dishcloth set (I’m not even joking... my former boss was elated when I gave her them!). I have decided that making all these items for fun, and then have them just pile up, wasn’t going to do anymore. So now... I’m going to sell them!
