Pawsome Creations by Valerie I have spent my life having a pet. Today I have 4 dogs and 2 cats. At the age of 8 my grandmother taught me to crochet. Each one handmade by myself.

Fifty four years later I am combing my two passions into an adventure I call Pawsome Creations.

Just a reminder March is Pet Poison Prevention Awareness Month, it’s a good reminder that chocolate, medications, cleaning supplies, and certain plants, things we use every day, can be dangerous for dogs and cats.

When in doubt take the cautious route and contact a Vet

I know it is hard to believe but it still winter. I know my roses are confused

However when I look at the forecast for the next few weeks we might actually be getting snow

In honor of that white stuff the misfit crew wants to remind you that we make custom sweaters.

Please reach out to order one for your furry friend

What is a Dog Snood?

A dog snood is a soft, stretchy fabric tube worn around a dog's head and neck, primarily to keep long ears clean, dry, and warm, preventing them from getting into food, water, mud, or burrs, while also offering comfort or a calming effect for some dogs.

Keep an eye out for more snood designs; frog, teddy bear, unicorn, bunny rabbit and more.

Please send ideas. My snood model, Cooper is patiently waiting for mom to make him some.

Today Pawsome Creations made a special visit to our local Humane Society.

Recently they took in a dog that was taken from a dog fighting scenario. Someone had gone as far as to cut off the dogs ears

Check out how adorable Star is with her custom made Dog Snood.

Pattern design from Ashlea. Thank you
