MEET OUR TEACHERS
MARLYNDA AUGELLI is the visionary behind the Creative Arts Hub & Gallery, and the artist who brought the stunning mural on Mulberry Street to life. With a Fine Arts degree from Columbus College of Art and over 50 years of experience as a freelance artist and graphic designer, Marlynda brings passion, expertise, and heart to everything she creates. At the Creative Arts Hub & Gall
ery, you’ll find a vibrant space offering hands-on classes in painting, printmaking, fiber arts, stained glass, and more. Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned artist, there's something here to spark your creativity. Marlynda, affectionately known as “Mar,” pours her energy into teaching while also caring for her autistic son and loyal studio helper, Nathan. Her dedication to both art and community shines through every brushstroke and class. ALESHIA "DREAM" GARRETT is a multidisciplinary artist whose work bridges the natural world and tactile creativity. Based in Ashland City, she blends her passion for painting with her love of fiber arts, often incorporating woold from her own flock into her canvases. Growing up, her parents instilled in her a love for fine arts - her father a potter and painter, and her mother a stained glass artist and digital artist. In addition to her studio practice, Dream is now an art instructor at the Creative Arts Hub and Gallery, where she teaches weekly classes in painting, fiber arts, stained glass, collage, and card making. She delights in sharing her creative process and inspiring others to explore their own creative voices. Learn more about her or register for her classes at https://artworkbydream.com. Each week, Mar and Aleshia will be leading a variety of workshops—including painting, screen printing, and other exciting art forms.
