Time for winter pickle time these r easy to make and the ingredients we use in these r good for winter season as of cold weather people have to face cold cough these pickles help them during those uneasy days ,
I have pickled pineapple cauliflower carrot ginger pickle North Indian style lemon pickle South Indian style lemon pickle they all have common ingredient ginger green chilli and garlic along with different spices.

Andhra Gongura Pachadi or this Andhra style chutney made of sorrel leaves an authentic delicacy typical to Telugu cuisine. It is an important part of every festive meal or feast. Although these leaves are called different names in different regions, the nutritional properties of sorrel leaves remain constant.

Did you know: Sorrel leaves are rich in iron, vitamins, folic acid and antioxidants, these leaves are highly recommended for patients of heart conditions and diabetes. It is said to help in weight management and is believed to have lots and lots of minerals and vitamins such as Vitamin A, B and C.It has lots of fibre and aids in proper digestion.
It strengthens the immune system if consumed regularly and helps in proper blood circulation in the body.It is highly useful for those suffering from Anaemia as it helps in treating iron deficiency disorders.

This Gongura Pachadi comes together with a whole riot of flavours and spices like red chillies, coriander, fenugreek and cumin to truly pamper your senses leaving you asking for more.
Ingredients:
2 pounds Gongura/ Sorrel leaves
Whole red chillies 150 grams or according to ur spice level
50 grams tamarind
3 whole garlic cloves
Salt
Fenugreek/ Methi roasted powder
1 tspn dhania powder

For tempering:
Oil
Mustard seeds
Whole red chilli
Channa dal
Curry leaves
Hing
Method:
First pluck every leaf from the stem wash nicely dry pat with cotton cloth as we don’t want any wetness as it might spoil the pickle
In a pan add a tbspn oil and sauté the Gongura leaves until they get soft and leave it on side, Meanwhile soak the tamarind in Luke warm water , Fry the methi seeds and powder them.fry Red chillies also
In a food processor add all these ingredients and blend them coarsely.
Make the tadka mix with the Gongura mixture let it cool and store in air tight bottle

This is highly nutritional serve it with warm rice Roti and enjoy through out the year saving it in a Refrigerator.
