Romans 5:6: For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly.

While there are many verses of the Bible that carry significant weight in the believers mind, I would not attempt to claim that any verse is more important than another. However I do believe this verse to be of particular importance as did Charles Spurgeon who dedicated an entire chapter in his book All of Grace to understanding what it means to any Christian.

“If you hold to the truth that Christ died for the ungodly, and believe it, your faith will save you, and you may go in peace”. - Charles Spurgeon.
