Originally from Austin, Texas, Nicole Hilton, AIA is the founding principal of Cole Hil, a full-service design firm focused on educational, community, and commercial developments.

She has been making history from the beginning, becoming the first African American female graduate of the Louisiana State University School of Architecture to be licensed.

Architect of Record: Cole Hil - (I give a huge celebration to the one who took a leap of faith, left his big comfy job to come work with me, Jereme Smith AIA, NOMA, Project Architect), Contractor: Ra-Lin - Who did an amazing job, high tech delivery and hired the best subs so they would not compromise the complexity and integrity of the design. Design team - Hugh's Ray (Civil), Forsite Group (Structural), MEP, Lighting Designer and Low Voltage (Savant, ASD), Building Envelope (Contour) I only work with the best yall ROCK! And last but not least THANK YOU DCSS and the COMMUNITY of Douglas County for supporting us!!!! Foresite Group

It takes a strong team to deliver a great project to the community.

The Douglas County High School Sports Complex aka 'The CLAW'. It's historical, equitable and represents the school's 4 mission while drawling from the existing architectural language and Tiger mascot. We blended my experience of understanding the communities economic goals with the schools districts and Superintendent Mr.Trent North desire for a forward design approach to expose its students to greater. Construction Delivery: CM at Risk. We are 98% complete with construction (waiting on the furniture and the remainder of the Blue panel for the faceted facade).
