Talk about a transformation! Completely gutted the laundry room/hallway/closet and made one luxurious laundry room. Complete with custom cabinets, reclaimed wood counter top and floating shelves, new tile floor and German smear brick wall. But wait that's not all... we gutted the kitchen pantry (there were two of them) added custom cabinets with a pull out liquor drawer and built-in wine cooler. Sometimes before and after pictures are dramatic and sometimes they are subtle. For this project, we already loved the look. So, we focused on updating the screen porches with new screen and new lattice. The porches also got updated handrails and custom built screen doors. Along the way, we did discover some structural issues, as is the case with any historical home. Adding supports and a new post fixed those issues. Even the trim above the garage got a facelift.
