Here's a 'before and after' commission job that the Yeti recently finished. The client had this cookie that he'd been saving and wanted it turned into a table with wooden legs. So Blu used epoxy on the top to highlight all the inclusions and to give it a gorgeous shine, then he crafted a beautiful base with slightly curved legs to finish it. Swipe to the end for the final product. Absolutely stunning! Do you have an idea for a custom piece? If so, send us a message and we can help bring your idea to fruition!

|| Dimensions: 6.5" x 6.5"
|| Wood - Cherry and Holly
|| SKU 271
|| Price: $150
Handmade locally in NW Georgia by the Bearded Yeti Coalition.
This breathtaking piece of art is made from Cherry on the top (no pun intended!) and Holly for the base. One of the Bearded Yeti's favorite things to do is to not hide the natural woods imperfections, but instead allow them to become part of the beauty of what he's creating. That can be seen here where he used copper wire to "sew" the large crack that formed, in turn making this piece richer in character. He then hand carved the base from Holly, creating a stand that looks like a set of roots, supporting the bowl above. Overall this piece is a stunner and would add a special touch to wherever you placed it!
6% sales tax is added. We can ship within the continental US (shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer) or do a local meet up in Hiram, Downtown Dallas, Powder Springs, Marietta Square area, Downtown Acworth, or Downtown Kennesaw.

You might be wondering exactly what is a Bearded Yeti and who’s in this Coalition? Well maybe I can shed some light on this.
First let me give you a quick insight into the whole Bearded Yeti thing. My name is Blu Pearson the founder and original Yeti. I’ve always had these two sides to my personality: the wild & beastly, metal fueled, knuckle dustin’, throttle twistin’, knees in the breeze, loner; and then there’s the silly, goofy, cuttin’ up, cuddly, contemplative, introvert, teddy bear, softy. Of course being older, married, and having kids of my own, I’m much less the beast and more teddy bear now.
Being a kid at heart I like to play video games with my kids and doing so you need a name to use in the games. So I asked my wife and kids to help me come up with one. After much deliberation they decided since I looked like a Yeti and have a big grey beard and my name was Blu I should be Mr Blu Bearded Yeti. I loved that! And so began the development of my alter ego MrBluBeardedYeti.
Fast forward about 4 years... I have always loved designing and creating things. All kinds of things, artsy pursuits such as painting, drawing, sculpting, and playing music, to practical things like design and build remodeling, building custom motorcycles, or anything related to wood. It’s just one of those core parts of who I am. To have a vision in my head and go through the pain and process to see it come to life is a great joy to me. Of course what medium I am creating in ebbs and flows, as does everything, and lately I have been drawing and doing graphic design again. Which led to the graphic T’s. But in researching how to get my designs printed I found so many other things I could design. So I began talking with different printers on how to make this happen.
My wife by the way is an amazing creative soul herself and has quite a portfolio of great designs, typography, and other cool crafty things. I saw the opportunity to give her an outlet to let some of her designs out in the wild as well. She already has an Instagram page for some of the awesomeness she has done in the past at https://www.instagram.com/willow_rock_handcrafted . Then I thought “Why stop there?” and encouraged our kids to start designing things. Hopefully it will spark their yearning to customize the world. So I asked them to come up with a brand and logo and few designs. They did and so Stinklefinch (my son) and 6Beauties (my daughter) were born.
Fast forward another 2 years...and we found ourselves returning home to GA after living in Egypt for 8 years! This has given me the opportunity to start my own woodworking shop and bringing my love of handcrafted woodwork back to the fore front. I’ll be doing custom work, commissioned pieces, as well as restoring and refurbishing existing furniture.
Put all this together and the Bearded Yeti Coalition was born. My wife, our kids, and me :). Stinklefinch, 6Beauties, Willow Rock Handcrafted, Bearded Yeti Coalition, and BYC Furniture. For the online apparel and merch, I have ended up creating three different shops that are all connected via one checkout and one log in. One that started as the main shop Willow Rock trading Co.(wife's designs, home decor stuff), Bearded Yeti Coalition (my designs, survival/outdoor gear, biker gear, etc..), And Brimstone Jones and the Pepper Pirates (hot sauce and other fiery foods). I may break out BYC into a couple of shops just to make it less crowded to find things and manage inventory better. We’ll see. As of right now only the Bearded Yeti Coalition is going live and the others will go live as I get them up and running so there’s tons of amazing things coming up.
In Conclusion
The Bearded Yeti Coalition brand is more just a refection of myself. The designs, the other products I’m offering in the store, are all things that appeal to me. I know all the ecom gurus will say that’s not a good way to be successful and you should just follow the trends and only sell hot product blah blah blah. But that’s just not who I am. If I’m not passionate about something, don’t believe in it, or wouldn't use my self, then I sure as heck wont recommend it to some one else just to make a buck. If it’s in one of my shops you can bet, either I use it, have used it, know folks who have used it, or researched and vetted the heck out of it, and feel confident recommending it.
Come, join my family and I on this journey! Feel free to message and chat ask questions and get to know us. Have a blessed day and thanks for your support.
