Furniture Recon

Furniture Recon I have combined two passions, fashion and furniture. I am remodeling antique and vintage furniture i I went to college for fashion design and earned a BFA.

I have been working and playing in the creative industry for over 20 years. I watched my grandmother and other women in my family making clothes, costumes for Halloween, drapery and quilts. I am professionally trained in sewing, draping and pattern making. I also have extensive training in textiles. I later started working as a photo stylist and went back to school for interior design. I grew up w

atching my mom restoring antiques and making stained glass. We went to antique markets, estate sales and second hand stores. There, I developed a love and passion for antique and vintage wares. I have had the idea of remodeling vintage furniture for years and had done a few pieces for myself. I am a self taught upholsterer, I knew I could design fashion why not furniture. I love color, texture and mixing patterns. I find nature very inspirational along with boho culture.
