Q: What’s your number 1 tip for looking natural in photos?

A: 👏🏻Never.👏🏻Stop.👏🏻Moving.
That is one of the very first things I say to ALL my clients.

When you stop moving while taking pictures your muscles start to tense up more and more the longer you try and hold a pose. This results in stiff muscles and people looking awkward and uncomfortable. 🤦🏻‍♀️

If you keep moving (even a little bit!) your muscles will stay relaxed and you’ll look WAY more natural. You have the freedom to be yourself and you look more confident 💯🤩

Also, look for a photographer who values movement and candid moments… like me! 💁🏻‍♀️

You wouldn’t know it, but we only had about 15mins for bride and groom photos on this wedding day. Woah!

This might scare a lot of photographers, but since I’ve been photographing weddings for almost 10 years, I’ve learned how to make any amount of time work 🙌🏻💯

Sometimes things change on wedding days, it happens! I’ve learned how to roll with any timeline and make the most of it 🤩🥰

Sarah told me her color scheme, how much texture she wanted, and the shape of the bouquet and then let me work my magic 🤩🤩🤩

It means the world when a bride trusts me and the creative process and lets me design! Beautiful things come from it 👌🏻💯

You deserve to have incredible wedding photos no matter how old you are, how many times you’ve been married, or if it’s pouring down rain (like it was on this day, but you’d never know that… 😂) ☔️

If you’ve found someone you love enough to marry, that should be celebrated and documented in the most authentic way possible.

Real emotions look way better in photos 💯👌🏻

You guys have to go check out one of my very favorite wedding venues

Brenwood Lake is one of the few wedding venues around here that will let you have a fireworks show at the end of the night 🤩🤩🤩
