It would take a zombie apocalypse for us to willingly brave morning traffic. 🧟‍♀️ The one exception? The Chamblee Star Quilters Guild!

We spent a sunny Wednesday morning last week hosting a pop-up shop with this happy, lively group of quilters who welcomed us with so much warmth and enthusiasm.

Our Springtime Strawberries Quilt Class is jammin’! In this lesson, you’ll create a charming mini quilt featuring tiny raw-edge appliqué strawberries tucked inside each sawtooth block—how cute is that?! Finishing at approximately 20" x 20", it’s the perfect size for a cheerful table topper or a cozy pillow to brighten your space this spring.

Designed for beginners and newer quilters, we’ll walk through essential techniques like cutting, sewing quarter-inch seams, stitch-and-flip, nesting seams, and raw-edge appliqué. It’s everything you need to build confidence in quilting!

This project celebrates sunny days, fresh berries, and a little handmade joy. Come sew something that’ll make you smile all season long! 🍓

Spring break is great and all, but by the end of the week, the days can start to feel… a little monotonous. Break up the daze with our Spring Break Mini Camp happening TODAY from 1 to 4 PM in our Bogart studio!

In the class, kids ages 8 and up will spend a cozy afternoon sewing their very own 13” stuffed boy or girl doll. Suitable for advanced beginners, it’s a beginner-friendly project that features small curves for a fun mini-challenge. All materials are included, there’s a snack break, and if inspiration strikes, there’ll even be time to make extra outfits!

Looking for a weekend project? We highly recommend the 1, 2, 3, QUILT! Series. This series guides you through completing your quilt in three hands-on workshops: assembling and basting, machine quilting, and binding techniques. We're tackling assembly and basting in April's class; you'll learn to assemble and pin your quilt top, backing, and batting to make a ready-to-quilt sandwich. It takes place this Saturday from 9:30 to 11:30 AM in our Bogart studio.
