Oops! 9 times out of 10 I forget to take a ‘before’ picture! Memory just isn’t what it used to be!
This started out as a dark brown antique dresser from Scott’s parents’ home. It became a hot pink dresser in Sarah’s room and now has been transformed to a black matte piece with modern drawer pulls. My favorite paint to redo furniture is fusion mineral paint! Fushion is available at the Mill in Canton and the Woodstock Antique Market!! It’s a little pricey, but requires little to no prep on stained wood, covers in one coat, and dries to a nice hard finish! When dry, I coat it with furniture wax (not necessary) and when cured, it looks as if it was done by a professional!
