I’ve never had a green thumb. Plants usually met their fate in my hands. Until Covid - when I learned to pay attention. Funny, not a bad metaphor for human relationships either.

Excited about this Ficus Burgundy Rubber plant! Her dark leaves, pops of deep red, and under leaf texture make for all the things I enjoy about plant life! Instructions say she is easy! We shall see!

A vision realized. In our 23 years together between apartments and houses we have had seven dining rooms. It wasn’t that we didn’t talk about making our dining room our own, it just wasn’t the priority. Let’s just say the old saying “great things come to those who wait” rings true here. Little odds and ends to still be done but so happy with these results. And thanks to the trusty old table and chairs we parted ways with that was a hand-me-down from Doug’s family. So many sweet memories around that table!
