I'm so excited to be part of a business community that I have just joined this year. The coach, Brooke Riley, is fabulous and I truly love the community. I have a place to go when I have a question about my business and I get to hear all kinds of testimonies and strategies that are working for the others in the group.

Thursday night, she is hosting a webinar about sales in the 4th Quarter that I can't wait to see. Collaboration is so much fun to me especially when I get to work with my beautiful daughter, Cecily, over at Sparrow & Crow. I did the digital paintings and she took those and did her magic on putting it all together on the tumbler. Skylar hand delivered the gift to Larry so it was a three generation collaboration!

Hey, y'all!

We did some stuff last year. We did lots of stuff last year. Let me explain…

When I last posted on this page (I know, I know – it has been way too long), we were living in Panama City Beach, Florida. Although it was our happy place, we had a lot of things pulling us back to Atlanta. So, we decided to give up on fighting water from hurricanes and move it on back to Georgia. We officially sold our house at the beach on May 13, 2022, and signed a contract to build a house. We moved into our motor home and parked it in Florida until the house in Georgia was built.

Plans changed again and we had to cut ties with the builder. It put us in a tailspin trying to find another house in the area we wanted to move. However, Jesus took the wheel and found us a perfect house in Mansfield that was 90% built. Beautiful – just what we wanted. We moved in on July 12, 2022. Thank you, Jesus!

Since then, we have been busy settling in and I got a workshop built in the back yard. One of my dreams come true. I also rented some vendor space at the antique shop to sell all my art. I couldn’t be happier!

Now comes the hard part – updating all my social media accounts and getting serious about selling my art. I have big plans and I hope that all of you will follow me here and on my new website/blog (still in the building process). And, if you are ever in or around Covington, Georgia, come see me! We also added to our family: Pita, our German Shorthair Pointer, joined us in August. We love her so much but she is a little cray cray. :)
