Grace's Garden Floral Design About Grace’s Garden-

Grace's Garden has just one hope - to make your event as beautiful as you envision it to be.

Whether you are having a garden party or your dream wedding, we will do our best to make your event both special and memorable. We understand that each client is as unique as the flowers he or she chooses, and it would be our pleasure to make your specific vision come to life for your special occasion! About Wanda-

I attribute my passion for flowers to the two strongest and loving women I know: m

y grandmother, Grace , and my mother, Paula Grace. Growing up, I looked forward to visiting my grandmother's home in South Georgia each summer. She always had a small, but impressive garden with a variety of my favorite southern flowers. I loved tagging along with her while she worked in her garden. My mother shared and always encouraged my interest. She has an amazing gift of taking seemingly ordinary flowers and turning them into a beautiful centerpiece. Our kitchen table was always adorned with a bouquet that she created. Their passion for flowers, and their love for me will always inspire me "to play in the dirt".

Valentine’s Day seems like the perfect time to announce that Grace’s Garden Floral Design is closing up shop. To me- Grace’s Garden started from love! When Kristin’s girlfriend, Brittany, asked me to do her wedding flowers- of course I would- I have loved Brittany since she was five years old. I had taken one flower class and have loved flowers since I was a little girl. How hard could it be? It didn’t take me long to find out that it was a lot more than flowers. Since 2015, we have been lucky enough to be part of 71 weddings. Becoming a small business owner was definitely out of my box- as my patient partner/daughter would tell you. But it worked ,and only worked because I was blessed to be loved by some amazing family and friends. I think that is what made Grace’s Garden a little more unique than other florists. Everyone that was a part of this little business was family or friend. Whether it was building an arbor, helping prep flowers, strategically loading our SUV fleet, or working a 12 hour wedding day. They were always there; always smiling and encouraging me that it would all work out! I wish I could list every single person- just know that I could never have done it without you. Which brings us to my daughter Kristin- who balanced a full time job, a marriage and eventually 2 precious babies AND still helped whenever I needed her. She was always my biggest cheerleader and therapist! I hope that we made you all smile with our posts throughout the years- whether it was flowers, brides, puppies or my precious grandchildren. I also hope that maybe this is your sign to go out of the box and take a chance on whatever your passion may be. If you do it with LOVE, you can’t lose. Happy Valentine’s Day everyone! XO

When one of my favorite flight attendant friends asked me to do her daughters wedding I couldn’t say no. And when I called in 3 more of my favorite flight attendant friends to help- they didn’t hesitate. It was a perfect day celebrating Erica and Matt!

When I was at my mom’s home a few months ago I found the local newspaper folded to the above poem laying on her desk. I really don’t know if my mom deliberately laid it out for me or if it was just fate that I found the poem, but I did know that someday anyone that loved my mom was going to need this little reminder. And all though we are all heartbroken, how can we not celebrate 92 years of a wonderful life? She filled every single year with the most selfless, unconditional love and was loved back even more. As her granddaughter said- that’s how how she lived her life…..Full of love. So we are going to do what my mom would want - we are going to smile, open our eyes, love and go on. ❤️

“You can shed tears that he is gone, or you can smile because he lived. You can close your eyes and pray that he will come back, or you can open your eyes and see all that he has left. Your heart can be empty because you can’t see him, or your can be full of the love that you shared. You can turn your back on tomorrow and live yesterday, or you can be happy for tomorrow because of yesterday. You can remember him and only that he is gone, or you can cherish his memory and let it live on. You can cry and close your mind, be empty and turn back, or you can do what he would want: Smile, open your eyes, love and go on.” -Author Unknown
