After that wild nor'easter, the sun is finally breaking through and giving us a sweet taste of local summer to round out the week. We recently wrapped an incredible photoshoot in Ocean Grove, and while we wait for those fresh reveals, the sunshine has us looking back at our last shoot with . There’s really nothing like watching months of floor plans, material selections, and install days finally come to life in front of the lens.

Find a partner who will help you rearrange furniture when you’re nine months pregnant, share unfiltered TMI on the drive over, and make you laugh until you cry. Eight years ago this August, we turned that exact work-wife energy into Swell Design Co., and we haven’t looked back since.

Fast forward through hundreds of paint swatches, late-night presentation prep, heavy lifting, and an endless stream of inside jokes, and here we are…still having the absolute best time making things beautiful.

Building an interior design business is equal parts chaos, grit, and creative magic, but having a partner in crime makes every moment worth it.

To our amazing clients, local trades, and Monmouth County community who have trusted us with your spaces over the years: thank you for letting us do what we love every single day. Here’s to the next chapter (and continuing to never take ourselves too seriously)! 🥂🎉

Mother Nature might not have gotten the memo for the unofficial start of summer this weekend 🌧️🥶, but a little gray weather isn’t going to stop us from daydreaming about a summer full of sunshine!

Memorial Day weekend always has us looking back at some of our favorite outdoor spaces we’ve designed over the years. There’s truly nothing better than creating a seamless flow between your indoor living and the beautiful fresh air—especially when you get to enjoy those gorgeous coastal breezes right here in Monmouth County! 🌊

My personal bathroom refresh has been playing second fiddle to some amazing projects lately, but I finally carved out time for a long-overdue progress update. The resized window is officially in, the paint is refreshed, and this tile is finally getting the spotlight it deserves.

The very last step is the best part: sourcing the art. Stay tuned.
