Ok, so it wasn’t the big ‘grand opening’ I had been hoping for, but my Etsy shop is FINALLY opened to the public! 🥳🎉
This summer TRULY came to bite me in the butt. 😅 Right after my printer fiasco (see last post)—like, literally the same week my new printer arrived—my boyfriend and I moved into our new place. Idk about y’all, but I am the W O R S T at packing and unpacking. I hate it. Moving sucks. 🥲😆
And then it was just a sequence of life events (& also a lot of procrastinating out of nervousness, I’ll admit) but I finally decided to just list my stuff & open my shop.
So, here is my official, sort of anti-climactic announcement.😅
I know summer is coming to an end, but I do still have some summer fragrances (like a watermelon blend & a pineapple blend) that I would LOVE to share with y’all before I release my fall fragrances!
Thank you all for being so patient with me, and for offering up messages of encouragement and excitement. I can’t tell y’all how much it means to me. 🥰
Let’s soak in the rest of this summer, friends! 🤗☀️🍉🍍🌸🌴

Don’t you hate when things don’t go as planned?

Last weekend, my printer decided it was going to stop working. 🥲

I print all of my candle labels from home. Since I plan on printing them per order, the candles I’ve made don’t all have labels on them, yet.

I called the printer tech support, and they said they’ll replace it (thank goodness for warrantees!), but it will be an indeterminate amount of time before I have my new printer. 😭

So with all of that, I am saddened to say that I will not be launching my shop this weekend. ☹️

But it’s ok! ⛅️ Though I am definitely disappointed, I am still so excited for what’s in store (pun intended), and I will continue to give updates as soon as I have more info.

I love this sentiment SO much, and I cry every time I watch this movie. She has always been my favorite princess, just because of how classic and nostalgic she is. But the live action movie really solidified it for me! Light this candle, fill your home with lavender goodness, and remember to always have courage and be kind.

Over the past few years, this show has become one of my favorites! The crazy adventures, the sci-fi oddities, the vulgar and completely inappropriate jokes—I’m here for all of it. 🤣🪐
Scent: “Hippie Cologne”
Description: this candle is spicy, intriguing and masculine. It is infused with patchouli and cedarwood essential oils that shine through its base. It’s a very popular scent that to me, smells just like a hippie getting ready for a hot date. 😌✌🏼
Fragrance notes: saffron & apple; black currant & vanilla; patchouli & amber

I wanted to make a post focused on some of the ethics of my small business. 🌱

My candles are:
🆓 of mutagens
🆓 of carcinogens
🆓 of parabens
🆓 of phthalates
🆓 of reproductive toxins
🆓 of organ toxins
🆓 of acute toxins
AND they’re vegan! 🌱💚

As I started making candles, I went through several manufacturers to find wax, wicks, and fragrances that are free of harmful chemicals, while still giving a great scent throw and burn time.
I know these are things we don’t always think about, and for some they might not be a concern. And that’s fine! I am not about shaming people in their lifestyle choices.
But, I wanted to make my fun and fragrant candles available to EVERYONE. Making them free of harmful chemicals seemed like the best way to do it.
These candles smell amazing, and the quirky labels make me laugh and smile every time I walk into a space. ☺️😋
I truly hope they can bring joy to all of you, as well!

What an iconic character! Elle Woods has been an inspiration to us all since 2001. 💕 Not only did she have an admirable can-do attitude and willingness to work hard, but she achieved her goals without sacrificing any of her beautiful femininity. Right on, Elle!

Description: this popular fragrance is sweet and floral, with just a touch of saltiness of fresh ozonic air (which adds that little 🤌🏼). The woody tonka bean at the end gives it a beautiful sweetness.🌸

This fragrance is so masculine yet elegant, I thought it was perfect for David. This was also the first fragrance I fell in love with! 🥰
