Finished this one tonight. Basket #40 - The African Basket. Padded foam wooden base backed with blue leather and covered in African fabric. 10 inches wide, 6 inches deep. Dyed blue Florida pine needles, waxed linen thread.

Basket #39. “The Pine Cone Basket”. 14 inches wide, 5 inches deep. Florida pine needles, acrylic painted wood base, pine cone flowers, wheat stitch using waxed thread. Leather base bottom.

Basket #35. The Pink Tourmaline Basket. 12 inches wide, 6 inches deep. Pink tourmaline stone base paired with rose quartz beads. Pink tourmaline is my October birthstone. Known for its heart healing properties when paired with rose quartz.

Elizabeth’s Iris Basket, 11 in by 8 in. 4 inches deep. Green and purple dyed needles with beading and hand painted wooden base. Inspired by my daughter’s irises in New Mexico.
