I recently shared this photo of my backpack purse, the one that is pictured is 10" H x 10" W. They are made with 100% cotton yarn. Cotton yarn doesn't stretch as bad when you put something heavy in it. It only has one strap on the back and it is not lined. The starting price for these purses is $40. I can make them bigger and I can line them with the fabric of your choice and I can also add pockets. I also can have two straps added if you'd like 2 straps.
