Hi! I'm Heather, owner + maker at seventeen|nineteen candle co, and I want to share some things about our brand that I think are pretty cool.

1. We are a woman and mom owned small business in western PA.

2. We believe living more sustainably should be achievable, so all our candles are hand poured into vessels that can be reused as cocktail glasses once your candle has completed its final burn.

3. We support growth, education, and change, so every month we donate 10% of sales to a worthy cause.

4. We know how vital feeling a sense of connection is to mental health and hope that our drink inspired candles help facilitate connection through gifting and entertaining.

I love date nights. They're definitely a self-care practice for me because nourishing my relationship with my husband brings me joy and fulfillment. And I take better care of myself when doing my hair and makeup while getting ready for date night.

But with three little kids and no family within 500 miles, date nights are far and few between, so we do date nights in.

Cooking a meal with your partner is a great date night in idea. You're free of distractions (goodbye screens!), which means more quality time together. Cooking together also requires a good bit of communication (so important in ALL relationships). And once you're done, you get to enjoy a meal - something you created - together.

So mix up a cocktail, pick your favorite meal, and get cooking!

Limoncello has been the most loved of our drink inspired candles so far.

"Limoncello is the perfect scent to brighten up a super gloomy day! It’s such a mood boost! This candle reminds me of summers with my grandmother making as many lemon things as we could."

Whew! It has been a busy few days of packaging orders, running to the post office, and restocking candle scents you are LOVING (**cough cough Limoncello**)!

Thank you so much for sharing in the excitement of our rebrand. It has been a labor of love with lots of emotions attached. I am so grateful for your support along the way. There have been MANY happy dances happening over here.

All launch day orders have been SHIPPED 🙌 (almost feels like Amazon Prime over here 😉), and I can hardly wait to hear what you think.

We're not done yet. Keep your eyes peeled for what's to come (already testing FALL fragrances 😳).
