Teacher Appreciation Week 🚨

Karen Erikson Weaver better known as Mrs. E to her students, does so much more than teach. Like so many educators, she pours herself into her classroom in a way that most people never fully see. Time, energy, patience… and a big piece of her identity, all in service of her students and our community.

But Mrs. E takes it a step further.

She creates a space where kids feel safe, seen, and supported. A place where learning actually sticks because students feel like they matter. It’s not just about lesson plans and grades, it’s about building confidence, shaping character, and helping kids believe in themselves.

We get a front-row seat to the effort that goes into it, and it’s no small thing.
