This is from a fellow crafter. I definitely admire her strength, her gift, and her purpose here in this world. If you don't follow her, you should, she's an amazing crafter and such a strong woman. Big hugs Kat, love these songs you're sharing 💕

I shared this a while back and it was one of the hardest things I’ve ever done. I also just wrote a song (not me singing it) THE LINK IS IN THE COMMENTS

There is so much shame wrapped around abuse—shame for staying, shame for hiding it, shame for making excuses, and shame for believing it might somehow be your fault. But I need women to hear this: the shame does not belong to you.

This image represents a painful part of my life, but it is not the end of my story. I survived. I found my way out. God met me in the brokenness and blessed my life in more ways than I ever thought possible.

I’m not sharing this for sympathy. I’m sharing it for the woman silently scrolling who may believe she is trapped. You are not weak. You are not stupid. You are not alone—and you do not have to stay.

If this song, “There Is a Way Out,” helps even one woman find the courage to reach out, make a safety plan, or take that first step toward freedom, then sharing my shame was worth it.

There is hope. There is light. There is life on the other side. ❤️
