These custom barn doors are officially DONE. 🚪🚪

Lots of sanding, stain work, and detail went into these to get the tones just right and keep that natural wood grain popping. 🌲✨ Every piece is built by hand, built strong, and built to last. 💪🔨
Now they’re ready to head out to their new home. 🚚🏡

The shop is completely packed tonight. These custom barn doors are all getting their second coat of poly, and honestly… I can barely move around in here anymore. 😆

Lots of sanding, staining, and finishing going on in the S.A.W shop to get these ready for their new homes. Every one of these is built by hand and made to order.

🚪🚪🚪 Doors… doors… and more doors in the S.A.W shop! 🚪🚪🚪

The shop floor is filling up fast with custom barn doors getting ready for the next steps. When the orders start rolling in, the sawdust starts flying. 🔨🪚💨

Each one of these is built to order, sanded, and stained right here in the S.A.W shop. 🏠🔨

The finish on these doors is a custom stain blend I mix myself in the shop — not something you’ll find sitting on a store shelf. 🎨🪵 That’s what gives them that unique tone and character in the wood grain.

Right now they still need their side frames and cross frames installed, and then they’ll get their protective coats of poly before heading out. 🪚🔧🪵✨

So naturally…
I built them a chicken penthouse. 🐥🏠😂

✔ Lift top for easy cleaning

The chicks are warm…
The wife is happy…

🔥🪵 Custom Wood Shutters – Built to Order 🪵

Just finished this beautiful set of custom shutters here in the S.A.W shop.

These were sanded smooth and finished with Black Walnut Danish Oil to protect the wood while still letting the natural grain and character shine through. ✨🌲

To really bring out the depth in the wood, I also used a little shop secret technique that gives the shutters that rich contrast and rustic look. The final results turned out amazing. 👌🔥

🔥 Another custom build coming out of the S.A.W shop 🔥

These custom wood shutters were finished with Dark Walnut Danish Oil to protect the wood while still letting that natural grain stand out. Unlike exterior stains that can cover up the character of the wood, this finish keeps the grain looking rich and natural.

They’re drying overnight in the shop right now, but I had to grab a picture before they head out the door.
