This Week at the Shoppes
As we wrap up July, that can only mean one thing—fall is just around the corner! Personally, I never want summer to end. But from a business perspective, I’m beyond excited for the cozy fall vibes and the upcoming holiday season.
Lately, our home has turned into a mini warehouse with new inventory arriving non-stop. Every time I open a box and see the beautiful fall pieces inside, I get more and more excited for what’s ahead!
Starting in August, I’ll begin slowly releasing our fall collection each week—and I truly can't wait for you to see what we have in store. Cozy, festive, and full of charm... you're going to love it!
Our Big Announcement!
Okay, time for the big announcement—I won’t keep you hanging any longer!
A few weeks ago, an unexpected opportunity came our way: a chance to move our Rockford shop to a new location. At first, the idea of leaving our current space inside The Standard felt nearly impossible. We’ve absolutely loved being there. The space has been a dream—especially getting to use The Standard’s event venue for so many amazing gatherings the last few years. However, after lots of heartfelt conversations, Trevor and I made the decision to go for it… we’re moving our Rockford location! But don’t you worry—we’re only moving across the street! Our new home will be the former Runners Image space!
While it’s bittersweet to say goodbye to a place we’ve loved so deeply, we’re beyond thrilled about this new chapter. The new space brings fresh opportunities and a little more room to play with. Speaking of exciting updates—if you’ve been with us for a while, you probably know my friend Karla Reed, who runs an incredible secondhand vintage business. She’ll be joining us in the new shop with a curated section of vintage clothing! That means alongside our collection, you’ll also be able to shop her amazing finds as well! It's honestly a dream collab, and we are so excited about it!
So many changes, and so much to look forward to. We’ll be hosting a big moving sale toward the end of August (I’ll share all the dates and details in the next newsletter), and our goal is to open the new shop the first weekend of September. If that timeline shifts a bit, we’ll aim for the second weekend—but I’ll keep you all in the loop every step of the way.
We’re so excited to take you along for the ride as we create a fresh new space—and just for fun, here’s a little peek at the vision I have for the exterior of the new storefront :) I'm also throwing in a photo of the shoppe at Christmas because...who doesn't love a holiday storefront?!
Things I'm Loving Lately
If you follow along on Instagram, you might’ve seen me sharing my morning fresh-pressed juice routine—I've been doing it daily for the past five weeks, and honestly… it’s been life-changing!
I thought it was the perfect time to share my go-to recipe with you because I make this one every single day and it’s hands-down my favorite. Plus, how cute is this glass?! It’s one of our best-sellers at the shop, and I totally get why—it just makes everything feel a little more special.
In honor of these glasses being both a customer and personal favorite, we’re having a weekend sale at both Shoppe locations—20% off these fan favorite glasses all weekend long! Perfect time to stock up or grab a few as gifts (they're seriously so cute for hosting or gifting).
Now for the juice recipe I swear by:
A few handfuls of spinach
5 cucumber slices
A handful of mint
2 apples
A few slices of pineapple
A few slices of honeydew
A few slices of cantaloupe
I don’t use a super fancy juicer—just a simple one that gets the job done beautifully. If you give it a try, let me know what you think! Cheers to feeling good and sipping pretty!
