✨ One of my favorite things is putting together themed donation baskets for local events and fundraisers.

I love gathering together little vintage treasures, cozy touches, books, mugs, puzzles, candles, and creating something that feels thoughtful and nostalgic. ❤️

Over the last few weeks I’ve created everything from a whimsical Noah’s Ark themed basket to this cozy Americana inspired summer basket full of vintage charm and patriotic touches. ❤️🤍💙

This rainy Thursday I’ve been working on summer store resets and finishing up another fundraiser basket here at the shop. ☔️✨

I truly enjoy the creative process of pulling these together and making each one feel special and unique.

We are open tomorrow, Thursday, May 14, from 10 to 5. Fresh items have been added throughout the shop this week, including vintage and garden decor, outdoor furniture and metal pieces, lamps and cozy lighting, unique collectibles and pottery, whimsical boho finds, and handmade and one-of-a-kind treasures. The outside garden area is blooming with personality, and the store is feeling extra cozy after a week of rearranging and bringing in new inventory. Tonight was a beautiful reminder that family time really is one of life’s greatest gifts. ❤️

The older I get, the more I realize the little moments become the big moments — laughing by the water, watching the kids play, holding babies, celebrating birthdays, and simply being together after busy weeks and hard seasons.

Storm, my baby, turns 30 on Friday, and somehow that feels impossible and beautiful all at once.

Grateful tonight for family, sunsets, hugs from grandbabies, and memories that don’t cost a thing but end up meaning everything. ✨

Mother’s Day can hold so many different emotions.

Today I am especially missing my Mom and thinking about how much changes after losing someone who helped shape your world. ❤️

I also know this day can be difficult for so many others too — for those missing their mothers, mothers missing children, those carrying grief, estrangement, infertility, complicated relationships, loss, loneliness, or quiet heartaches that others may not see.

So today I simply want to send love to all of you.

I hope wherever you are in your story, you found at least one small moment of peace, comfort, beauty, laughter, memory, or connection today.

And to the mothers, grandmothers, bonus moms, caregivers, pet mom’s, and women who continue loving others even while carrying heavy things themselves — you matter more than you know.

Happy Mother’s Day from The Rustic Barntique. 🌿
