I’ve got new leather bags in the shop! I modeled them after the good old “bank bag”, back from when cash and checks were a staple in every household and business. These are genuine leather, though - not the vinyl/naugahyde fabric from the past. They’re great as a clutch, a pouch, or even as, you guessed it, a bank bag. 😁 Here’s some photos of one in action, thanks to my lovely friend!

ps- I can’t promise all of my leather is Italian, but I do have a couple of partial hides right now that have Italian Leather markings on the back…

New purses will be in the shop soon! They are made with waxed canvas, have 4 zipper pockets, and are a great small bag when you need to carry a lot. I’m loving waxed canvas for the durability and fun crumpled look. Here’s a peep!

Another winter storm in Michigan, so it’s a great day to sew! Today I’m trying to finish up some book sleeves to restock my store. They have a lot of pieces so take me forever to cut out but they sew up pretty fast. Make sure you “favorite” my store so you’re notified when new items are released!

🔔 ‼️New item alert ‼️🔔

I’m now offering the cutest rag quilt-style coasters! The top is flannel with another two layers of flannel in the middle, and the backs are up-cycled denim. Then they have been snipped, washed, and ruffled! I love them because they are absorbent for sloshes and spills but not bulky, and no more hearing a loud “thud” when you set your mug down on a hard surface. (It’s a sensory thing 😵‍💫)
