My Seasoned Palette was created by my husband Bob and I this past summer. I was looking for an artistic outlet in my free time. I kept getting these urges to create, but didn't know where to start. One day just for the heck of it I brought out all of my paints and started painting on a piece of scrap wood and loved it! I love the roughness of the wood as my canvas. From there we decided to turn ou

r old garage in to a studio where I could set up all my paints and supplies. Bob is my handyman. He helps with the heavy lifting, cutting, moving, and any computer technical stuff I run in to. Though he hasn't left me helpless. He bought me my own smaller size battery operated power tools complete with a sawzall, skill saw and drill/screwdriver. And I have to say, I love it! Our little studio has come a long way. We have heat, a fridge, a big screen tv, music and even added a window for natural light. I'm pretty happy out here in my little get-a-way!

Where have I been you ask? ... crazy busy with a new job and grandkds. I had also decided to rearrange my workshop to make it work better and somehow got to a point of 'what have I done?'
But I miss my shop and my painting so I will get it all together and be back !
