I’m so excited to share something special with you all 🤍
My friend has just launched her new art page, Gild & Garden, and I can honestly say her work is absolutely stunning. I’ve seen these pieces in person, and they are truly one-of-a-kind—beautifully crafted with so much creativity and heart behind each one.
If you love unique, vintage-inspired art and garden pieces, you need to check her out. Give her page a like and show her some love—you won’t be disappointed 🌿
Welcome to my page! I am the artist behind Gild & Garden, a body of work that transforms vintage lamp bases into one-of-a-kind garden sculptures. Drawing inspiration from nature, historic craftsmanship, and a lifelong love of gardening, I repurpose forgotten objects—many dating from the 1920s through the 1950s—into birdbaths, plant stands, and sculptural pieces designed to live indoors or out..
With a background in graphic design, publishing, and creative marketing spanning more than four decades, I bring an eye for composition, color, and form to each piece I create. Layers of metallic finishes, vintage glass, and salvaged materials give every sculpture its own character while preserving the craftsmanship of the original object.
Based in the Binghamton, New York region, I create work that celebrates renewal, sustainability, and the quiet life of the garden. My pieces invite birds, bees, and pollinators to gather, transforming what once illuminated a room into art that lights up the landscape.
