Throwback to these 1920s/30s Art Deco Club Chairs for with their original double decker seat spring unit that is unlike any upholstered piece I have ever worked on - shown on last slide. We removed the foam that had been added at some point in its long life and reused the coconut fiber pads where we could, retied the back springs, and padded the entire chair with coconut fiber, stuffed and stitched into the desired shape and covered in cotton felt and muslin before it got its new gorgeous slate blue leather.

This stunner definitely deserves a place on the grid - throwback to this Chippendale sofa for in cotton velvet.
