Here are pics of a porch some guy was building for a new client of mine every aspect of this structure is completely wrong. Its 10 inches out of square, I was able to push over the 4x4 support posts ( they should be 6x6) with little effort. had this guy finished this it would have surely failed. Next the new porch we built.
