Make It Burn by JHEtch

Make It Burn has a new look—and a new gift shop.

I’ve refreshed the website with new branding and a better look at the custom engraving work coming out of the workshop. Have an idea for a personal gift, business piece, or something a little unusual? That’s still what I’m here for.

The new gift shop adds workshop-humor T-shirts and amber jar candles for people whose scrap pile has “future potential” and whose hobby budget is already on fire.

Working on some business-side things lately. Updated the website tonight to focus more on generating contacts and building clientele. Give it a visit and share with anyone you think may be looking to get some engraving work done!

Bob Walters Linton Motors contacted me this week about some hats for the business, so we got them setup. If you are looking for a good used car, go check out what they have!

Along with lasering, I have been doing some vibe coding resulting in some pretty cool things. If you want to support more than just the laser business, give the new game a try!

I’ve had this knife for a while, but the sheath it came with wasn’t great and the belt loop broke on me a few months ago. Happened to be looking through some material I had but had never used and forgot I had a full grain leather that wasn’t my favorite for hats. So I decided to draw up a template for a scout style sheath and used my laser to cut the two sides and a welt. I also had the laser cut holes for the stitching so I didn’t have to fight the leather to sew. Some cutting and hand stitching later, and I have a nice, full leather, scout sheath that is exactly what I wanted.

It’s Fair Week, and Marek requested some hats to wear for his shows. These should be pretty good for him!

Got a picture of one of the latest pieces I helped out with. The cutting was done by me and final paint/assembly by the client. It was a lot of pieces and collaboration, but the final product is worth it!
