We’re excited to share that work has officially begun on our end of Phase 1 of the Downtown Streetscape Project! While Main Street will be closed for a period of time, we promise to keep you updated every step of the way as construction progresses.

The good news? Genevieve's, Scout Coffee and East Forty Brewing will remain OPEN throughout all phases of construction! 💕

Now more than ever, we encourage you to continue shopping local and supporting the small businesses that make our downtown so special. If there was ever a time we needed your support, it's during this transition. Every purchase, coffee run, and visit means the world to us!

🚗 Parking Information:
At this time, our small parking lot directly behind Genevieve's will be the primary parking option. You can access it easily from 15th Street.

We know construction can be inconvenient, but we truly believe the end result will be worth it. Thank you for your patience, support, and loyalty as we navigate this exciting new chapter together!

Just another day of working on pressed flower frames. Or is it?

Not seen: Zach learning how to tie balloons. It looks a lot of demonstrating, realizing that he was doing it opposite me : dyslexia affects his brain in a way that aligns him as ambidextrous. More attempts at breaking each step down and a lot of failed attempts. He got it though! Now hes on a roll with 5 tied on the 1st try. Arya is now in my lap rubbing my hand for attention. Maybe being productive is for another day 🤷🏻‍♀️

Today's garden update: added zucchini, cucumbers strawberries, marigolds. I already had tomato, cherry tomatoes, & pepper. The pot contains Birdhouse Squash which I'll build a trellis for soon. I can't wait to see it vine up and across. I think I'm more excited to turn them into birdhouses than anything else! This mini garden is between two of Astrids runways. Hopefully they are safe since her paths are established. 🤞🏻

I know its chilly and rainy and Saturday morning. Its hard to get out of bed. That's why I'm letting you know that we're downtown Blue Springs until noon. Please support our farmers, bakers, and makers. The farmers and bakers prepped all week for Saturday at the market and then got up early to set up. The Brunch Ladies, Barkin' Bean Roasters, and The Lemonade Stand are here, too. They can help you get going.

Oh, and if you have a pup, Pawpup Pedicure is here!
