Warning: Do not stare too long! 😵‍💫✨

- Decided to experiment today and gave the Norton White Tile technique a shot.

I coated a basic 6x6 ceramic tile with inverted utility marking paint and let the laser work its magic on this intense optical illusion pattern.

For a first attempt, I’m loving the contrast and crisp lines.

✨ Bringing Scripture to Life, Layer by Layer✨

I am so excited to share one of my latest creations here at ZilverLining!

This multi-layered wooden piece features a beautifully detailed cross with the face of Jesus wearing the crown of thorns, set against the powerful words of Acts 20:24:

“However, I consider my life worth nothing to me; my only aim is to finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me—the task of testifying to the good news of God's grace.”

🛠️ The Process Behind the Piece
This project was all about patience and precision. It's built from multiple laser-cut and engraved wooden layers that stack together to create an incredible 3D depth effect.

1. The Foundations:
- You can see exactly how the individual layers started out before being carefully lined up, glued, and framed.

2. The Final View:
- You can see the complete top-down view of how the text and the cross perfectly blend together.

3. Depth
- To really appreciate how the multi-layered design makes the cross pop out from the engraved scripture background see the photo taken at an angle

🐉 I'm Back! 📚

First off, I want to majorly apologize for being so quiet on here lately. My old laser unfortunately bit the dust, which put a hard pause on all my projects. But out of that breakdown came a massive upgrade… meet the new beast in the shop, the xTool S1!

You can bet this absolute machine hard at work.

To break in the new setup, I combined two of my wife’s absolute favorite things: dragons and books!

The final, fully assembled piece with a sleek, dramatic black top layer.

The wooden bouquet is finally in full bloom! 🌸 I just finished building and adding the last three flowers today. Nothing beats the feeling of taking raw material and turning it into a custom piece like this—definitely not your average store-bought puzzle! Long time no see! 👋

It’s been a minute since I last posted, but I had to share what I just built! I recently laser-cut and assembled this intricate wooden vase and flower bouquet. 🪵🌹
It was a fantastic project to bring to life from scratch, and I am really happy with how all the fine details turned out.

The absolute best part? These flowers will never wilt!😉

Hey friends! It’s been a little bit, but the laser has been running non-stop lately! 🪵⚡️

I’ve been spending a lot of time experimenting with new materials and designs.

Not every project is a winner right out of the gate—as you can see in the photo, I tried my hand at a 3D vase that is currently giving me a run for my money!

😅 It’s not quite standing or even correct fitting together , but that’s all part of the learning process. I’m not giving up on it, but it’s back to the drawing board for some fine-tuning.

However, today was a total win. I spent the entire day focused on a special Teacher Appreciation gift for one of my girls' teachers. It took some time to get every detail just right, but I’m really proud of how this one came together. 🍎✨

I’ll be posting the finished project tomorrow morning, so keep an eye out!
