🚨 SONIC BOOM captured in Blythewood, South Carolina!!

We still don't know what caused it but USGS confirmed it was NOT an earthquake, and Fort Jackson confirmed it did NOT come from the base.

For my locals, did you hear it?! Did you FEEL it?!

I was in the workshop sanding, headphones on, dust collector running, music playing… and I STILL heard it loud and clear. The roof shook and it sounded like a tree came crashing through our paint booth. 😳

I didn't even think to check the security footage until this morning… Oh my goodness y'all. 😱 TURN YOUR VOLUME UP!

Rob and I haven't been active on here lately and this picture explains why.
We've been working on several quotes and aren't quite caught up yet but this type of work comes with the territory of our business and that's okay 🫶 We spend hours drawing out and designing custom builds so that we can give our clients a price that will not change, a design that will not surprise you when we're finished nor would we EVER surprise you with additional charges that were not previously on our invoices. We take our time to get it right as with anything we do ☺

I am however getting quicker with my CAD programs so there's that!!

We've been physically working on refinishing a chest of drawers and a dining table with 6 chairs that we cannot wait to share with you though 🥰 more to come on those soon!!

🇺🇸 On Memorial Day, every fold of a flag carries meaning. That last fold though, the one placed into the hands of a grieving family, says more than any words can.

Today we pause for the men and women who gave everything for this country. We honor their memory, their families, and the story told in every fold. We may not know them all but we owe them all. 🇺🇸

Several people asked if I was going to stain or treat our cedar mailbox…of course I did and it’s beautiful! 💕 Enough about the darn mailbox, it’s time to move on to the other 4 projects we’re in the middle of!! 😅
