📣Exciting news!!
momo’s beading is participating in its very first exhibition!
(And yes, I’m a little late announcing it😶‍🌫️)

The theme of this exhibition is “Sketch.”
Through sketches, studies, and notes, visitors can explore where ideas begin💭

For this show, I’ve brought along some new beaded flowers, a few illustrations of pen drawings I created while living in Japan.🇯🇵 You’ll find a few works that have never been shown before!!

Somei Yoshino / Sakura 🌸

Meaning: purity

Seeing these sakura blossoms here makes me think of home.
In Japan, graduation takes place in March, just as the sakura begin to bloom,
and the school year starts in April when they are in full bloom.

Every time I see these flowers,I’m reminded of that moment
saying goodbye to friends and feeling a little nervous about a new chapter.

A little bittersweet, but full of pure hope.

My first beaded flower workshop💐

Artists from different fields came together and shared lovely time together!!

We began by choosing from so many different colors, shapes and textures of beads intuitively, not knowing what kind of flower would bloom.
Piece by piece, every part came together and the moment each flower bloomed, a big sparkle filled the room✨

Thank you for being patient, creative, and sharing this special moment with me🫶
