It’s been a minute since our last post. ❤️

Things at CarvD Studio paused for a little while after Phil lost his mom in August.

When we returned to the shop, one of the first pieces he created was this memorial for his siblings—a piece made to honor Mama and keep her memory close.

Sometimes the things we create mean more than just the wood they’re carved from.

Every project tells a story. This one starts right across the street.

I had the privilege of creating this custom cherry hardwood nameplate for my great friend and neighbor. There's something special about taking a simple idea and transforming it into a handcrafted piece that welcomes people home every single day.

Bamboo bathroom trays for a client — bringing warmth, organization, and craftsmanship into everyday spaces.

A 4 person handcrafted Mancala game — designed to create memories, spark conversations, and bring people together for generations (pictures and video coming soon).

Do you remember playing Mancala growing up? We call it "Oware" in my home country.

For many people, it's more than just a game, it's a connection to family, friends, culture, and memories that span generations.

At CarvD Studio, I enjoy creating pieces that bring people together. These handcrafted Mancala boards are designed to slow us down for a moment, gather around a table, and enjoy genuine conversation and friendly competition.

Each board is precision crafted from natural hardwoods, allowing the beauty of the wood grain to become part of the story.
