I designed this for the owner’s family of . Back in the day, The Stand was a Mobil service and gas station in Indian Neck, Branford, CT. ⛽️🔧🧰⚙️🛞🛢️
Throughout the years, they added a vegetable farm on site and hosted their own organic stand. 🥕🍅🥒🥦🌾🚜 👨🏼‍🌾
This piece is a tribute to their many years of history and transformation!

Business tends to slow down in the winter.❄️ But it allows for me to reflect on the pieces I’ve done and set new goals for the busy season to come.📋

This is, by far, my favorite piece to date!💙⚓️

Just to list a few reasons…
• the creative freedom I was given (with a general idea of what the bride had in mind)
• the trust they had in me for such an important occasion (no pressure!)
• how I exceeded their expectations (and mine!)
• the continued display of this piece in their home well after the event
• the new skills I developed with my CNC machine
• executing a quality nautical piece

I can’t wait for the next piece that challenges me and ignites that passion within.❤️‍🔥

I used a pearly, white paint on the back of acrylic sheets and mounted them onto navy blue stained pine boards with gold standoffs. So shiny! 🪩

Can’t wait to do more pieces with mounted acrylics!🔮I’m seeing some wedding inspo! 🤩🤩
