Move In Organization, using what my clients have at the moment, and what is that? Two fantastic Elfa Mesh Drawer Systems!

First try didn’t work. Too much wasted space on the sides that would’ve been hard or not practical to use.
The second one was great! Skinnier but taller, and the best part, it has wheels, allowing them to move it around, inside the closet or even out of it when needed. A win win!

Before and after!

Boxes out!! They take too much space and create visual clutter too.
Contain the small stuff using stackable drawers like this ones, label them with their contents, and enjoy your new uncluttered space!
Breath!!!
Relax!!
Take control of your stuff, not the other way around!!

The transition! From the very beautiful end to the messy beginning!
Great transformation! Done in three hours with the help of my client, who was working from home and made the time in between calls to go through toys, games, clothes and more!
The clothing rod went one shelf up making a lot of space on the floor for the hamper with all the softies and a bin with bigger toys keeping them out the room’s floor, something that was greatly needed.
On our next appointment next week, we will organize the rest of the room, which includes Legos!! (Sounds scary, doesn’t it?) books, moving furniture around to explore a different lay out and more. Stay tuned!

Another amazing transformation in this family/play/art room, and closet.
My estimate is that 60% of its entire contents ended up being donated and garbage. So proud of my client! It takes so much energy to start this, usually, overwhelming decluttering process, but after about 10 minutes, decisions begin to flow and the energy changes from “scared to do this” to “let’s do it”, and I absolutely love it.
We declutter, rearranged some furniture and got rid of one big table. In just one room we created three different areas: the lounge area, the play area and the crafts and arts area… and she loves it!!!
I keep telling my clients: “don’t be afraid to rearrange things! You’ll be surprised how the energy of an entire room changes just by changing the location of one piece. You may have to change a couple more, depending on the area… just give it a try! It will definitely feel like a new room!
So, are you ready to declutter your home and bring peace of mind to your life?
I would love to help you!

One of the most rewarding moments when working at my client’s homes is when their children, between 10 and 12yo, also tell you how cool and organized a room is. That happened yesterday when I finished this Linens Closet/Play Room!
It took about 40 hours in total, sometimes working together with my client, sometimes all by myself, going through sheets, towels, toys, games, Legos… deciding the appropriate bins and boxes to store everything in an organized way to be able to find what is needed, and most importantly, put it back where it belongs with ease.
They also wanted a calming color for the bins and boxes, and were very lucky to find them at two different places. Now everything is what they need and they all have a place. That is the goal!
Mission accomplished! Couldn’t be happier!!

Best reward? A happy client!!
For this “under the kitchen sink” cabinet I got this fantastic Bino Drawers at Home Goods. They fit perfectly and they contain all the small stuff in just one place. You can use each drawer for towels and rags, another one for gloves and plastic bags, and another one for dish washing sponges of any kind… that’s what I did here. No more stuff all over, making this a messy area. Now everything has a place. That is the goal! Mission impossible? Nope! Mission accomplished!

“Things that clutter your home”
Day one.
Baseball caps.
Seriously: how many do you need? One? Two? Ten? Twenty? Thirty? I’ve seen even more than that.
Do you know how much money you spent on them? Even if you have the money, pretty sure you don’t need that many, they will end up taking too much space in your closet or all over your home and you’ll probably not wear them at all, except for one or two.
Go through them, keep the best few ones, donate the rest. Let’s be practical, shall we?
