Spent over a year on and off (mostly off, I was a REAL busy lady) designing and creating a dragon costume. So far, everything but the corset is great! Unfortunately, I don’t know how to sew. I did take an SFX class and my prosthetics are awesome, I can’t wait to debut them. But with all the anticipation, I tried on my corset and immediately busted the seams. I was worried it wouldn’t fit because I was pregnant while making it and could t try it on. But was hopeful. Unfortunately, being pre-baby weight does not mean having a pre-baby body. This leaves me with three options:

1) leave it as is and hope I can wear it next year
2) scrap it and start over
3) commission someone who actually knows what they’re doing

Overall, I learned and I loved- and I will still have a badass dragon costume one day. So I won’t be tooooo bitter about it
