I wasn’t “camera ready” when I walked in. That was the point. I learned about runway, posture, camera makeup, and even how to use my voice. We recorded ourselves because hearing your own voice was part of learning confidence.

Back then, makeup for the camera was different. It wasn’t about a 9-step skincare routine — it was about preparing your skin and creating a look that showed up under lights.

I didn’t end up pursuing modeling, but that experience started my journey into the beauty industry.
