When my son left saying he had to get a horse unstuck from a fence, I didn’t quite envision this. The horse was sedated and is fine, minor scratches only. A vet was consulted on the situation. The fence survived in good shape. A good outcome to what could have been a bad situation. Congrats to all for a successful rescue.

Me at Thirteen. Fell in love with the first horse I saw. Little did I know I had already outgrown him on day one. City kid, family was city too. And Mom honored a promise made when I was 5. “If you ever save enough money for a horse, I’ll let you buy one”. Moms are the greatest. Best $200 ever spent.

Before and After. I’ve only tried it this once, but not a fan of the new photo editing program on Chat GPT. Judge for yourself. Chat made more changes than just my hair and wrinkles… glasses off my head and hooked on my romper, new hair style , higher forehead and it just not quite me. It also pulled a different part of the room for background so searched other photos, and removed the paper on the countertop. All in all, a strange experience at seeing the counterfeit you.

This year we were at Lorie and Ben’s house. The daughters did everything this year, giving me a rest as I recover from a recent illness. This gift was very much appreciated. I am blessed that these wonderful people are my family.
