JG Creations LLC is a veteran owned/operated business in Brooklyn, CT specializing in laser engraving, industrial part marking, awards, business branding and personalized gifts. Our journey started in the garage with a hobby laser, creating custom wooden objects as a pastime. What began as a personal venture quickly grew, as friends and family began requesting engraved items—and soon, the demand e

xtended beyond our inner circle. In the spring of 2020, we upgraded to an industrial 80-watt CO2 laser and officially launched JG Creations as a side business, while balancing a full-time teaching role at the local community college. Over time, we expanded our capabilities with the addition of two more industrial lasers—a fiber and a UV laser—allowing us to cater to diverse engraving needs with unmatched quality. In early 2023, we took a leap of faith to focus entirely on growing JG Creations. This decision not only marked a new chapter for our business but also provided a unique opportunity to spend quality time with our boys, while fostering a family-oriented lifestyle. Outside the shop, we are deeply involved in Scouting America, with roles such as Scoutmaster and Treasurer for the local troop, as well as supporting our sons at soccer games and band concerts. This flexibility is central to our values, allowing us to harmonize work and family life. Our family collaborates across all aspects of the business—from social media, loading/unloading the machines, cleaning, assembling, and packaging—making every project a shared experience. We are passionate about crafting exceptional, high-quality items that stand the test of time. Whether it's a custom retirement gift or a bulk order of engraved cups showcasing your business logo, we take pride in delivering meaningful creations tailored to your needs. Good morning, JG Creations friends!

Some mornings you walk into the shop and know it's going to be a busy one... and today is definitely one of those days.

We've got stacks of cups, water bottles, coffee mugs, glassware, and portfolios lined up and ready to be personalized for our friends at J.N. Webster Scout Reservation. On top of that, we're squeezing in a handful of coaches gifts, graduation presents, and custom orders that customers are eagerly waiting to surprise someone with.

Days like this remind us how grateful we are for the support of our customers. Every box in this photo represents a project, an event, a milestone, or a memory that's about to become something special.

Tables full of finished shirts, hoodies, and hats waiting to be picked up. 😎

This week's apparel projects included custom gear for Troop 44 and a test batch of shirts for Groton Long Point Police Department, but that's just a small sample of the apparel we've been producing lately.

A lot of people know us for laser engraving, but custom apparel has quietly become one of the parts of our business.

Take a look through the photos to see some of the projects that have rolled through the shop. From businesses and organizations to scout units, sports teams, schools, fundraisers, and special events, we've had the opportunity to work with some great customers.

Exciting news from JG Creations!

A few weeks ago, we were honored to learn that JG Creations was selected as one of only five businesses to receive funding through the seCTerRise grant program. Out of $65,000 awarded throughout the region, we were fortunate to receive a $10,000 grant to help grow our business and expand our capabilities.

As many of you know, we have always believed in reinvesting back into the shop. These funds are being used to purchase a new 60-watt CO₂ Galvo laser, a RotoBoss Talon Pro rotary system, additional heat press platens, and specialized tooling that will allow us to serve our customers even better.

So what does that mean for you?

✅ Faster turnaround times on engraved drinkware and other cylindrical products

✅ Increased capacity for large-volume orders — whether you need 100 pieces or 1,000+

✅ Expanded engraving capabilities for larger diameter items

✅ More apparel customization options, including sleeve prints, pant leg logos, collars, and smaller specialty items

The new CO₂ Galvo laser is a game changer for our shop. It dramatically reduces engraving time on drinkware and allows us to take on larger orders more efficiently than ever before. In many cases, it has the potential to cut production time in half on larger drinkware orders.

For those of you who saw the shop reorganization post last week and noticed the large empty space, now you know the reason! The laser is currently in the final stages of clearing customs and, with a little luck, should arrive sometime next week. It will be taking up residence on the brand-new workstation that was built specifically with this expansion in mind.

We are incredibly grateful to Secter: Southeastern CT Enterprise Region for investing in small businesses like ours, and we want to thank all of our customers, friends, and supporters who have helped JG Creations grow over the last six years. Opportunities like this are only possible because of your continued support.

We're excited for what's next and can't wait to put this new equipment to work bringing your ideas to life, one laser beam at a time.
