Perfect Pan-Seared Steak π₯©π₯
Learn how to cook a juicy, flavorful steak on your stovetop with this simple method.
Ingredients:
2 ribeye or New York strip steaks (about 1-inch thick) π₯©
Salt and freshly ground black pepper π§π
2 tbsp vegetable oil π’οΈ
2 tbsp unsalted butter π§
2 cloves garlic, crushed π§
2 sprigs fresh thyme πΏ
Instructions:
Let the steaks sit at room temperature for 30 minutes. π°οΈπ₯©
Pat the steaks dry with paper towels. Season both sides generously with salt and pepper. π§ππ₯©
Heat a heavy skillet over medium-high heat until hot. Add vegetable oil and heat until shimmering. π₯π’οΈ
