Well, I did it again, another quilty graphic tee ended up in my closet (courtesy of .threadsmuse ) just in time for my upcoming BFF girls’ trip later this month. I can’t go lounge on a sunny beach without making a fun quilt top to bring along for a photo op! So, here’s a quick fabric pull and I think I might try to draft something similar to the wreath around the flamingo because I don’t really have the time to make something too complex. Less than 2 weeks… 💕🦩🌊🏖️

Have a bunch of your precious babe’s onesies, sleepers, crib sheets, or receiving blankets stashed away somewhere? This is your sign to make them into a quilt! This one will be Champ’s new favorite snuggle buddy. His family calls him “silly goose” so we just had to find a pantograph to match that! 🪿🪿

Quilt pattern: Make It Scrappy by , but I resized it and changed all of the math to make it work for these graphics. 🤪

Twin quilts but look closely—one is giraffes and one is monkeys. Sometimes it makes financial sense to load small quilts (or placemats and wallhangings) on larger backings to make the most of the e2e price and avoid the minimum quilting charge. Just a thought….if you’re sending in a big quilt that will have excess backing, it’s easier to add on a table runner rather than reload just for the runner.

Ms. Bessie’s first time stitching on denim and so far, so good! This quilt came in with holes, a shredded backing, missing batting parts and ties with yarn. I ripped off the old stuff, patched the holes, and it’s getting a facelift with new batting, flannel backing, fancy quilting and binding.

Sometimes you have to think backwards when picking a pantograph design. This quilt was made entirely of plaid prints and destined to be owned by a young man. Plaids are busy on their own so what made sense was a design that would really look neat on the backside. Enter Soft Slot—modern, clean lines, geometric with a twist on a checkerboard design.
