It's sort of become a pattern for me to share ALL THE THINGS, and then go radio silent here on IG.
Usually when this happens, it's a sign of a big changes, new projects, and real life unfolding behind the scenes.
I can look back at all the "quiet" seasons and tell you exactly when we found mold in our home, when we started planning to build the cottage, when my mom got sick with cancer. Or this summer when we took our little family to Disneyworld, and I realized I didn't want the rest of my summer to be spent by the computer or tethered to my phone so I just paused things here and on the blog for a bit.
Things may have looked quiet from the outside looking in, but life is never truly quiet. And just like all the pauses before, I always come back excited to share all things HOME with you again!
I've still been hitting up the thrift stores, rearranging furniture, and working on projects around the house. I even made the drive out to this September. And I've just missed sharing it all with you!
P.S. I found this new / old buffet at the thrift this summer, and I LOVE how it looks in our dining room. I've also been playing around with the mis-matched dining chairs look and it's growing on me. What do you think?
I can't wait to catch up with you again in this next season here at home. The 'ber months are upon us and it's one of my favorite seasons to decorate for, and one of my favorite seasons to welcome friends, family, and you into our home... it feels so good to be back y'all!
