I finished the binding around this one in time to take it to chemo infusion yesterday. The infusion room is FREEZING, so the sweet medical assistant always tucks me in with a heated blanket. My own blanket or quilt goes on top of that and I'm set for 3 hours of relaxation and healing.

It tickles me when family and friends claim "dibs" on unfinished quilts. JoJo saw this one with flannel back and thought it would keep her warm and cozy this winter! Pair that with her December birthday and Voila! A perfect match was made.

Oooohhhhh it's so good to be quilting again! Neuropathy andbother side effects rrom cancer kept me from my beloved craft for almost a year. Small projects, slow and steady work with lots of breaks have returned quilting into my world. Hence the photo overload!

Finally finished the binding on this adorable Autumn Woodlands Creatures quilt. I love the fabric's rich, deep colors and the mushroom thread pattern (thanks Piecemakers Quilt Shop and Small Gang Quilting)
It's nice to be able to do a little sewing now that the swelling from lymphodema in my left arm has been significantly reduced with this new treatment. Yay for the small things that are big things!
