This is Mississippi & we worry about tornadoes & hurricanes, not snow storms! So behold, I give ye 'The Snow-Cone Of Uncertainty', the hurricane forecast cone repurposed, recycled, re-imagined, very mindful, yet demure. I hope you enjoy this fun, but useful tool to explain a storm system forming on the edge of arctic air will ride along the Gulf Coast, generating snow north of it's track, but the track or edge of arctic air gets a little more uncertain over time due to it's influence from the warmer Gulf. This makes exact snowfall forecasts tricky, because a few miles either way can make a huge difference in the outcome. More details thru this weekend on WLBT 3 On Your Side including tonight at 10pm.
