My heart breaks for our city 🩶 The fire in my area is now 100% contained, but the devastation we’ve seen in the Palisades and Altadena is unimaginable and we’re still up against these winds through Wednesday. We’re all mentally and emotionally exhausted. We can’t thank the hero’s of our city enough . My heart goes out to everyone directly impacted by the fires.. my clients, friends, it has broken my heart to hear about your losses. LA is strong and will get through this. Communities will rebuild. Social media platforms are feeling broken with all the false information spreading, you don’t know what to believe anymore. Seeing communities come together finding ways to support is what we need more of. Just support and love right now for LA.

Built + Designed for a boy but kept neutral for mass appeal to sell.

When designing for clients vs designing for market there’s such a huge difference. Understanding your clients style and needs, specific wants, you design and build every inch and detail based around the client with the designers eye and guidance.

Vs building for mass appeal you start with what net worth is your audience? Location and demographic, the properties integrity and architectural style. You create cohesive spaces with elevated neutral appeal, with thoughtful details and functionality. I was lucky enough to have incredibly stylish clients who understood and embodied both sides 🤍🖤✨

Sneak peek 👀 This French range in our contemporary luxe Malibu project brought in the 🔥 When I joined this project framing had begun and 7000sqft of white marble flooring and the white counter was already purchased. With an initial white theme wood tones we’re off the table. I started imagining with less warmth and more mood. The reeded black oat bottoms added visual interest and texture. We chose glass uppers to create a lighter feel, and within the insides of the glass cabinets we stained 50ebony/50coffee to compliment the golds and to add more mood when all lit up. And of course in a custom built home, a customized hood fan is a must! All balancing this incredible traditional range in a contemporary setting, within the sexy luxe vibe 🖤🤍

Trying to be better with my progress shots!
This luxe contemporary bathroom from has “His and Her” Master Bathrooms. So of course for HER you go all out! 🤍 From framing we mapped out cabinet locations, rough plumbing, electrical and mirror cabinets, then custom cabinet details (blow dryer inserts, laundry pull outs etc) and how we could turn this bathroom into the ultimate “Spa retreat for her.” We chose for their custom contemporary high end appeal (if you look closely we have loaner faucets in this picture ~ still waiting on a few custom items in Italy) Steam Shower by Mirrors by and for the ultimate mind body aware client Infrared sauna. And what better way to escape with this view 🌊✨☀️🤍😍

The initial theme for this house was black and white which can start to feel sterile. Without completely taking away from the theme, we slowly started planning out where we could incorporate woods throughout to add warmth with all the cool white marble.
